It would be difficult to state which 'posts' come under what. Normally, the job profile is the consideration for Junior/Senior Management. The profile with the least amount of decision-making would be a Junior Management Position. Executives/Assistant Managers are normally in this category. The profile with a moderate level of decision-making would be a Middle Management Position. Managers/Senior Managers are normally in this category. The profile with a high level of strategic decision-making would be a Senior Management Position. General Managers/VP/CEO fall under this category. But still, to define, the job profile is the most important factor.

Hi Julie,

Junior Management, Middle Management, and Senior Management. It all depends on how you are graded in your organization. For example:

Junior Management includes:
- Junior HR Officer
- Assistant HR Officer
- HR Officer
- Senior HR Officer
- Deputy HR Manager

Middle Management includes:
- HR Manager
- Deputy General Manager (HR)
- Senior Deputy General Manager (HR)

Senior Management includes:
- Assistant General Manager (HR)
- General Manager (HR)
- Vice President (HR)

Hi Julie,

The positions purely depend on the brand of IT companies. Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer/System Analyst/Team Leader - Jr. Management. Project Manager/Product Manager, etc. - Middle Management. AVP/VP/SVP - Senior Management.
