A person died in a road accident on 19.02.2023 (Sunday), he was working in the private sector and his employer has paid PF contribution until Jan 2023 only. From Feb month he has working in eighteen days, but his employer has not paid 18 days contribution. Which date is to be updated in the EPF record (date of exit), and what is the procedure to apply for the EDLI scheme? Kindly explain.

EPF contribution should have been paid till 19th Jan & date of exit shall also remain the same day from EPF portal to avail any EDLI Benefits.
