"Aadhaar is not available against UAN. Kindly seed Aadhaar through the employer!" - Error showing while logging into the employee account.

Issue with Aadhaar and UAN

My employer tried to input my Aadhaar number, but he was unable to do so because my name on the Aadhaar card and in the EPFO account is different. How can I change my name on the EPFO portal?

Resolution Assistance Needed

How can I resolve this issue? Please assist me with this matter.

Please verify your name as per Aadhaar and your school/college certificates. If you wish to change the name in the EPFO records, you can either use the "basic change request" field in your member portal and submit the change request for employer approval or fill in a Joint Declaration Offline form signed by you and the employer, then submit it to EPFO.

I understand that the basic change request option in the member portal is currently suspended for reasons unknown to us. This suspension may be due to a shift in EPFO's objective from service to employees to rejecting employee benefits. The joint declaration form is attached herewith.

If your Aadhaar details are incorrect, you can visit any Aadhaar facilitation centre and present your birth certificate/school certificate to verify your name and request a name change in your Aadhaar record.
