Dear Friends,

Our company has been set up at the above address. It has an ESI Main code number. Under that Main Code, there are 146 Subcodes.

From the day the company was started until today, we pay each of our branches through the corresponding ESI subcode. Can we pay by generating a single ESI challan in total, rather than currently paying individually for 146 branches? Is there any option for that? Let us know. Can I cancel the other ESI Subcode numbers while paying as a single challan?

Payment of ESI Contributions for Multiple Branches

To streamline the payment process for ESI contributions across your 146 branches, you can consider the following steps:

1. [🔍] Contact the ESI authorities: Reach out to the ESI authorities or your designated ESI office to inquire about the possibility of consolidating payments for all branches under a single challan.

2. [📝] Request consolidation: Submit a formal request to consolidate the payments for all branches into a single ESI challan. Provide all necessary details such as the Main Code number and the list of Subcodes for the branches.

3. [💬] Seek clarification: Seek clarification from the ESI authorities on the process of canceling the individual Subcode numbers while transitioning to a single challan payment method.

4. [📋] Update records: Ensure that all employee records and details are accurately updated in the ESI system to reflect the consolidated payment structure.

5. [📅] Monitor compliance: Regularly monitor compliance with the new payment method to avoid any discrepancies or issues in the future.

By following these steps and maintaining open communication with the ESI authorities, you can potentially simplify the payment process by generating a single ESI challan for all your branches, thus enhancing efficiency and compliance with ESI regulations.
