Sharing Investigation Reports with Agencies
Whether the original investigation report of a PSU sector can be given to the investigating agencies (e.g., CBI/State Police/CID) if it is desired under the relevant sections of IPC/CrPC. If not, what are the reasons for withholding it?

I presume this may be a case originally inquired into departmentally and transferred to CBI thereafter. I don't think you'll have any reason not to share the case file with investigating authorities for further investigation. Due approval has to be obtained in advance. Before doing so, ensure whether the departmental inquiry has been concluded and an award has been passed or still remains inconclusive. If the follow-up is going to be by the state police, it's a different issue. There cannot be two cases for the same offense by two different agencies.
