Dear sir, We are one of the oldest private limits company established in 1947. We got approved in the year 1986 And form 3 national and festival holidays in tamilnadu. Now all labour office in Tamilnadu demanding to get new approval.
And pay fees 3000. What is procedure to follow? Kindly guide us.

Form-III issued under the TamilNadu Industrial Establishments (National and Festival holidays) Act,1958 is the permanent list of festivals approved by the inspector for the area as holidays for the employees employed in the concerned industrial establishment. It is to be kept exhibited conspicuously in the establishment.
The approved festival holidays would be in force in every year till they are amended. Therefore, I am unable to understand why the inspector insists on getting a new approval when there is no change in the ownership, name or address of the establishment and the festivals already approved.
That apart no fee is chargeable for approval of form III so far as I know.
