HI Team, Request you to help me with the maternity benefits how we need to calculate the pay what will be the duration of benefits and can we extend the maternity leave if required.
A woman is allowed only either 12 weeks or 26 weeks maternity leave only as is admissible to her under law. ML cannot be over and beyond this period.However she can continue being on leave even after expiry of the ML but on her leave account only subject to sanction by the employer.
