Once I got selected in one company. Before joining, I met the company HR for submitting joining documents. I was selected for an HR post only. They said no offer letter or appointment letter would be given, and an experience letter would be given only on request, but there is no guarantee that I would be getting an experience letter. Also, no salary slip would be issued. They told me that I have to sign a bond for 1 year. No mobile phone would be allowed inside the company premises. That was strange, though, because it was just the corporate office of a construction company and not some inflammable industry. Recruitment would also be done only by the CEO, and my role would be only to line up candidates for interviews. There were so many restrictions. I thought about it and in the end decided not to join it.
My question is, why do such companies have strange policies?
