Respected Sir, After completing my MBA with a specialization in marketing, it was very challenging for me to secure a job in Kolkata. However, I eventually obtained an opportunity for the position of Executive - Sales at Diamond Beverage Pvt Ltd (a Coca-Cola bottling company). I successfully passed all rounds of the interview process, but during the final round with the Vice President, I was informed that due to my lack of experience, I would need to work for the company without pay, earning only 300 Rs per day. I reluctantly accepted the position of PSR (Pre-seller Representative, typically for employees who have not completed 10+2), and I am receiving wages through a third-party payroll.
I have recently secured a better job, which I informally communicated to my senior. However, I did not officially notify the HR department of my resignation from the current company. Despite this, they are withholding my wages. I did not sign any agreement nor receive an appointment letter at the time of joining. The HR department is currently unresponsive.
I would like to inquire, sir, if it is possible for me to retrieve my withheld wages.
Thank you.

How many days/months did you work with this company? Give a written demand to the company linking the orders you have managed and daily wages @300 and ask for that amount. You should never have told them about your new job. Since you were a daily wage employee, you should have collected your wages and just left the company. After getting wages, you could have told them that you will not be working from the next day onwards. Tell the company that you will complain to the Labour Department.
