I am unable to understand why we can't spell out our problem, giving all the inputs at the time of asking the query. Why do members have to waste their precious time re-enquiring about the inputs? Is it because the site HR does not charge anything and the service is free? You will appreciate that it is really frustrating and does not reflect well on a professional.
Concerning Your Question
You have judged everything on your own, mentioning that they are happy with your work but do not want to give variable pay. If yours is a private company, I know that they don't have a government-type system where annual increments are granted on a particular date immediately after completion of a period of one year. Please have patience and continue doing a good job. You will definitely be rewarded. Another option is if you feel confident in yourself, consider changing jobs. When your present employer finds out about this, surely, they will contact you. If you believe the company cannot manage without you, you can talk to your top boss about your problem.

Variable pay will be given based on your individual performance and company performance. If your performance is good but the overall company performance is not satisfactory, how will the company pay the variable pay? You can directly ask your management about this; they will provide clarity.
