Dear All,
I am working as an HR professional with a Software Development company. As we know, in the IT industry, the attrition rate is too high. Therefore, my management and I have decided to conduct an Employee Satisfaction Survey. I really don't know how to start. Can anybody guide me to complete this task?

Hi Anjum,
You have not mentioned whether you have designed a questionnaire or not. If yes, then follow this process which we did in our organization. If you have some idea of what the employees' major concerns are, include these concerns in your satisfaction survey questionnaire. This helps.
Here is how to start the process:
Call a meeting of all the HODs and brief them about the Satisfaction Survey (why and how of this).
Give a circular to all staff members through email about the survey being conducted and attach the form for all to print and fill.
Mention in your email that it is optional to write their name on the form; mention only the department's name so that you know all have filled the survey.
Give a time limit to finish the exercise and deposit the filled forms at a central place (suggestion/complaint box).
Collect the forms, compile the data, list out major satisfaction items, and major dissatisfaction items, and take corrective actions as required.
I hope this helps.
