Hi Anita,
Salary band can be fixed based on the experience level, not by designation.
Here we go...
1. Associate Software Engineers (between trainees and developer level) < 2 Years
2. Developers/Software Engineers: 2 - 4 Years
3. Sr. Level / Team Lead: 4 - 6 years
4. Technical Leads: 6 - 10 years
5. Project Managerial levels > 10 years
Find below the industrial standard for IT professionals:
- 2 - 4 Years: ₹2.5L PA (min) - ₹4L PA (max)
- 4 - 6 Years: ₹1.25 Lacs per year
- 6 - 8 Years: ₹1.50 Lacs per year
- 8+ Years: ₹1.75 Lacs per year
For example: 4 - 6 Years - ₹1.25 Lacs per year
This means for every year, we need to pay ₹1.25L, i.e., 4 (Years) x 1.25 = ₹5 L p.a.
So, ₹5 L will be the salary for a 4-year experienced professional.

Hi Anita,
Candidates with less than 1 year of experience will fall within the salary range of 1.2 - 1.5 L P.A. For those with 1 - 2 years of experience, the salary band would be 2 - 2.5 L P.A. However, there isn't a specific salary band for .NET. The salary information provided applies to almost all IT professions including (.NET, Java, QA, and other software professionals).

Hi,
I would like to add to Sanjay's inputs.
Point 1: Compensation packages also depend on the educational qualifications of the candidates/employees. In new recruits, there is a clear distinction between engineers and non-engineers. Engineers (BE, BTech, ME, MTech) are essentially worth more than their other counterparts.
Point 2: Packages differ again according to the city, based on the cost of living.

Hi Anitha,
I completely agree with Sneha's points. When we are recruiting outstation candidates, we need to consider all these aspects as well. However, I provided the minimum and maximum salary range for freshers, which could be helpful to set the salary based on their qualifications.
Thanks for the points, Sneha.

Hi,
Thanks Sanjay and Sneha for your inputs. I agree salary fitment depends on a lot of factors such as education, skills, location, years of experience, last drawn CTC, etc. I needed to check the current market trend for IT professionals because I feel we are not at par with the market standard in terms of junior profiles since they had joined as trainees and have been confirmed.
Thanks once again.
