1. After leaving the company how long can I keep my PF amount with the Govt. 2. On what occasions PF withdraw is allowed while working.

Dear Chobey,
You can keep the account upto your 58 years ,with the assumption of joining in another PF providing organastion in any point of time...
However note that more than 3 years inoperative accounts will not be added with interests . Then it will be a waste to keep the money ideal.
PF can be withdrawn under many circumstances after 5 years of contributory services in common, for some special cases the mandatory services in not required. It is an advance not a loan .
