Hi, I have doubts, the employee worked for 4 years and resigned due to some reason and he has rejoined after 2 months his ESIC contribution is linked to his old ESIC number, then what will be his DOJ in the ESIC portal?

Hi, while his ESI number will be the same, his DOJ will be whatever new joining date he joined recently and not old DOJ

Is it by default the date of actual joining coming or the date 19/8/2022 is put by you? Normally, when an employee is registered the system will ask (default) is he an existing member and if you put Yes, then the date of joining is to be put manually. You can put the present date of joining, ie, if he is rejoining today, you can put 16-09-2022. If it is popping up with old date, then please take it up with the ESI Technical team.
