Dear Harpreet,
I just became a member of this Group/site and while going thru the postings, got to see your's and more importantly, saw Ashu mathew's responses too [which I have liked]. I empathise with you.

All I can say is this: if one makes a choice of a particular direction/route, he/she has to face ALL the consequences on the way.....I can't say I want to go by road seeing the scenery to Mumbai, but I also want to reach in a few hours. Maybe sounds philosophical, but that's the ground reality. It all depends on the choices we make and there's nothing called 'free lunch' in life---the price has to be paid now or later....just watch the saga of Satyam's Ramalinga Raju. What's in our hands is the "what" choice we make AND "how" we want to go about fulfilling it.

And I can tell you this Harpreet: your choice IS RIGHT, except that maybe you are finding the going tough to handle the consequences of making such a TOUGH choice. One of my favourite quotes is: When the going gets tough, the tough get going. And to a large extent, I have followed it in life.....having shared similar views as you do.

Maybe I can try to see how I can be of help in your current situation [I have a Placements Company]. Suggest you to mail your full details to:tajsateesh@gmail.com to begin with.
Bye for now,

Dear Harpreet,
I will write only one sentence " People laugh at me because i am different, And i laugh because they r all the same. that is called "Attitude" - Swami vivekanand. "
IF you really have courage start your own business and let the people follow your strategy.
Anyhow one has to take initiative to change things rather then asking or advising to do wrong practice.
Best of luck

Hi Harpreet I entirely agree with Mr Ash Mathew. Mr Ash, you are excellent path shower and motivator. I have experience in both product market and service sector and I believe that we are liberal to put our opinion forward if it makes sense. We make our identity ourselves. Existence drives from our thoughts. We should appreciate our thoughts and work out on it. Don't be frustrated and be honest with yourself. If you are not content with what you're doing then it becomes difficult to reach to the destination you're aiming for. Give some time to yourself and work out on how to get out of it. Usually, you'll meet the entities who run after the revenue prospect but don't forget that there are companies that after quality and quantity. Stopping and frustrating word are not ment for Marketing Guys.... I will be waiting to hear from soon about your next job....and not compromise with your principles as keeping and following 'em is rather cumbersome process. Regards the curateur

Dude try to get realisitic..People here may tell number of things but everyone should question themselves are they like you..I appreciate the fact that you are trying to be honest but when it comes to Business, the world is like this..If your seniors or your company is trying to fool your customers, in all propabilities it should not be legal company, so the choice of the company is wrong..There is no point in getting frustrated..It all depends on the attitude, don't think you are fooling the customer rather think that you are a very good seller.(Provided you are not giving wrong commitments)

Lemme suggest you something:
DONT OPT FOR A SALES PROFILE :icon10: JUST KIDDING..

Harpeet I am trying get realistic dude..People here are giving you a lot of views but todays BUSINESS world doesnot encourage these views..Say NO when warranted for example say NO when there is something wrong in the process refinement or process re-engineering, but DO NOT say "NO" to the process itself.

BTW Vivek, I have question for you..Which corporate is cheating??? If thats the case it should not be corporate...do you mean corporate which grows in short span of time are cheating!!!! Guys I need everybody's views on this point..

ONCE AGAIN WE GOTTO BE REALISTIC

-Cheers

Satyam!
Example for corporate that was cheating.
This is just one where the cover has been pulled off... Lets hope there are not many.
If someone is saying "In the business world its like this dude...." Then why a contradictory statement at the end of the message saying "which is the Corporate doing cheating business???
Viveks statement was - a few companies that have the urge to grow fast sometime opt to the easier methods - cheating.

Hi harpreet,
Came across your post. I emphatise with you as i hav egone through similar experiences in the past. However, I;m fortunate that now I'm employed with a very very good ethical and clean company from Mumbai in real estate. Have been with them for the last 2 years and have seen several ocassions where business was compromised to maintain ethical practices.
Are you from Mumbai? Why don't you mail me your CV? Let me see if I can talk to my HR about you....Offcourse it depends on your interest too.
Feel free to contact me on - my name is Sandhya Iyer.

Harpreet--we spoke today. as told to you, suggest you to mail your details [resume + any other info] to me and let's see how we can handle this?
Just remember one thing--just b'cos your see accidents on the road, you don't stop walking/driving on it...right? We only just get more careful.
You wouldn't even believe if I told you of my experiences when I began my Company 10 yrs ago [incidentally, Satyam was one of the deals that didn't workout then....now I know why...never ever regretted then and now all the more NO].
But still I have always believed that for every crook out there, there will always be a dozen who are fair [it's NOT my saying, it's Abraham Lincoln's...except that we don't know them [unfortunately it's the crooks who have the largest/biggest trumpets to crow about].
Asha Mathew & Sandhya Iyer--I would like to get in touch with both of you...let me know how..i.e. if you are interested too.

:( no use of running here & there. Try to look in you there must be something which you still need to calibrate with outer world to get adjusted or change the world as per your internal world....
