Need your help regarding one of my friends PF withdrawal. One of my friend has lots of ups and downs in his career. Please find below his job details.

1. Company Type: LTD. Co.
DOJ: September 2006.
LWD: May 2008
Reason and type of Leaving: Absconding (Company not relieving, got good offer. Only
resignation accepted copy available.)
PF account details and amount accumulated: PF account in Hyderabad as head
office in Hyderabad, Rs.8956.00

Question: What would be better, transfer or withdrawal. Also procedure in case of
transfer or withdrawal.

2. Company Type: Pvt. LTD. Co.
DOJ: May 2008.
LWD: January 2009
Reason and type of Leaving: Unable to serve notice period due to health problem,
company made him absconding
PF account details and amount accumulated: PF account in Kolkata as head office
in Kolkata, Rs.6240.00

Question: What would be better, transfer or withdrawal. Also procedure in case of
transfer or withdrawal.

3. Company Type: Pvt. LTD. Co.
DOJ: January 2010
LWD: May 2010
Reason and type of Leaving: Proper resignation and relieving done.
PF account details and amount accumulated: PF account in Bangalore,Rs.4992.00
Question: What would be better, transfer or withdrawal. Also procedure in case of
transfer or withdrawal.

4. Company Type: Pvt. LTD. Co.
DOJ: June 2010
LWD: Till Date
PF account details and amount accumulated: PF account in Mumbai.

Kindly let me know how the PF amounts can be settled. Please find below the PF amount details.If he wants to withdraw the same then what is the procedure. Also kindly suggest what would be better, Withdrawal or Transfer. Right now he is working in Bangalore.

Dear Joy,
Your friend has worked even for less than 6 months in one organization. From this he will not get withdrawal benefit from Employees Pension Scheme. Hence according to me it is better to apply to transfer, so that his all PF accumulations and EPS contributions will be consolidated. Later you may plan freely.
