I have received an offer letter from TCS. However, upon researching some articles, I discovered that there is a formality where I need to provide surety with income tax proof or make a Fixed Deposit of 50,000. But, I want to understand what surety entails. I am unable to pay the FD or provide surety as I live with a small family and have a limited income. Will this circumstance lead to the cancellation of my joining? Is there an alternative solution available?

Pls check with the concerned office of TCS. Such conditions are not there for TCS offers. You may have landed a bogus offer. Pls do not make any FD or guarantee.

- Researching the minute details, terms, and conditions of the offer made would be the best solution.
- Have a direct conversation with the concerned person there. Ask them questions and clear all your doubts and worries.
- If you still feel that things are not in your best interest, trust your intuition. Slow the process down and don’t be pressured into making a commitment or giving out personal information. Take time and rethink about it, keeping all pros and cons together.

Regards.
