Dear Friends,
I would like to know about, whether any employee joins with Base salary is more then Rs.6500/- p.m. and the member want to opt out from P.F. not want to be member of P.F. , What formalities needs to be done ? is there any forms which is availble needs to be submitted to opt out . If so what are the formalities needs to be done ?

6500/- HAS BEEN DECIDED CELEING WAGE IF ANY EMPLOYEE HAVE BASIC MORE THAN 6500/- THEN IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO DEDUCT HIS PF.THERE IS FORM NO.11 DECIDED BY EPF ACT 1952 FOR WHO DOES NOT WANT DEDUCT HIS PF.IT IS CALLED VPF(VOLUNTARY PROVIDENT FUND)

But most companies deduct as per their company norms. They hardly give the opportunity for the employee to decide and settle on his/her choice.VPF is good but rarely it is implemented.

could you please let me know how the PF contribution can be relase ,if the below is the situation
I am working in a managerical level in a pvt ltd firm for the last 16 years and now decided to releave on 30th september 2010 .
i just want to confirm whether the it is possible me to release the entire amount which i have in the account including which is moving to the pension fund .
what is the max time for this process.
request you to have the feedback from any seniors .

Dear Friends,
Thanks , for your advice, but after going through the Form -11 , the same form is used only for the employee for declarationby a persontaking up employment in the establishment, i could not find this form relevant for the exemption .
Enclosed the same for your review
Going in to details , whether it is comulsory for a person to get the P.F. deduct on Rs.6500/- and above this he can opt to be a part or not.

If you are not member of PF in earlier co. Then you can opt. a exemption for PF contribution by filling form 11 from your present employer, which have to submit by your employer to PF commissioner.

Dear All , I want to know about some little points related to pf .
1. An employee Who has completed 10 yrs as membership of pf and leave the job.
He wants to commute his pension immediately,his age 34 yrs . Is it possible? or Is it possible after the age of 60 yrs?
2. How much amt he can withdraw from pension fund 8.33 ?
3. What is the formula for calculating the pension?

Dear Rajiv, Since employee has served 10 years, he is entitled to pension but not earlier than 50years. Now only PF can be withdrawn not pension share. Regards,
