I have just completed my CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) certification from the UK (1-year full-time) and have relocated back to Pune. I am currently looking for a relevant opportunity. I just want to check with people here how well CIPD is recognized in India and if any institutes in India have the CIPD course on their list of academic courses. Also, is this course recognized by organizations here?

You can check with the CIPD Helpdesk in the UK. They will provide you a clear picture about it. As per my knowledge, in many countries, they recognize it. Though in India, CIPD is not a famous organization, it has its value.

Hi Simhan, Are u a member in CIPD. If so, in which grade? I am planning to join Practitioner level. I am not aware of the Standards of UK. i would like to know about it

Hello,
I have completed my BA graduation with Psychology as my major subject. Later, I pursued a Diploma in HR from Welingkar. Currently, I am planning to enroll in a Master's course in HR in the UK. I have received an offer from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. The course offered here is CIPD accredited and the institute is also recognized by AMBA.
I am curious to know if undertaking this course will be beneficial for me. Furthermore, I am interested in understanding the job prospects upon returning to India after 2-3 years. Could you please confirm if CIPD is recognized in India?
