Since your PF claim was returned due to an incorrect bank account number, the process to rectify this issue involves a few steps. Here is a practical guide to help you navigate through this situation:

1. Contact your employer or the PF office: Reach out to your employer or the Provident Fund (PF) office in Ahmedabad to inform them about the returned claim due to the wrong account number. They will guide you on the necessary steps to correct the details.

2. Update bank account details: Provide the correct bank account number along with any other required information to your employer or the PF office. Ensure that the details are accurate to avoid any further delays.

3. Resubmit the PF claim: Once the account details are updated, you may need to resubmit your PF claim with the corrected information. Your employer or the PF office will assist you in this process.

4. Follow up on the status: After resubmitting the claim, monitor the progress closely. Check your PF passbook periodically to see if the returned amount has been added after the corrections.

5. Seek assistance if needed: If there are any delays or issues in updating the account details or processing the claim, do not hesitate to seek assistance from your employer or the relevant authorities. They can provide further guidance and support to ensure a smooth resolution.

By following these steps and staying proactive in the process, you can expedite the correction of your PF claim and ensure that the returned amount is added to your PF passbook accurately.
