Dear members,

I worked at HDFC Life Insurance from March 2023 to December 2023. I left the company because they did not pay my salary and incentives properly. My question is, I have had deductions for the employees' provident fund. Is it possible to get back the amount from my provident fund? Please help me as I am currently jobless.

Secondly, I do not have any information about my EPF account because my EPF number is not even mentioned on my salary slip.

Thank you.

Hi, You can withdraw or transfer your PF through the UAN portal only. Your PF or UAN number is mandatory. Please contact your ex-employer's HR for PF or UAN number details. You need to register and activate the UAN first.

  • Dear Sir,

Firstly, your age is beyond the threshold limit of legality, and your organization is deducting Provident Fund, which then goes to the Pension Fund account, not accumulated as a Provident Fund in your P.F account.

You can withdraw all your Pension Fund through the activated Universal Account Number that will have been allotted to you.

Your Provident Fund and Pension Fund amounts are safe; you will not lose them. You will receive the full amount.
