Kindly let me know, is it necessary to keep the basic salary equal to the minimum wages? Let's say the minimum wage is 10,000, and the person is receiving 10,000 as his gross salary. In such a case, do we need to structure his basic and gross salaries as the same, or can we keep the basic salary as 50% of the gross, i.e., 5000?
