The fire load not only depends on the raw materials used in the industry but also on the quantity of raw materials utilized. To calculate the fire load, use the formula provided in Indian Standard 2190.
According to IS 2190, wood falls under the category of low hazard occupancy. The formula for calculating the fire load is as follows: combustible material in kcal/kg * calorific value in kg / total area in square meters.
