We are manpower suppliers operating in Bangalore and Hyderabad. We are registered under the Shops and Establishments Act in Karnataka. Can our staff in Hyderabad work under the same registration, or is it mandatory to register in Hyderabad? We do not have an office in Hyderabad. How can we proceed if we need to register in Hyderabad? All our staff in Hyderabad are registered under ESIC and EPF as these processes are centralized.

Contract Labour license is issued by the state government for a specific place. For every place, you need a separate license. Thus, working out of state with the same license is definitely not possible.

Whether the Telangana government will grant you a license without a local address is something you need to verify by contacting the labor commissioner there. If not, a local address is required.

Also, remember that you need to ensure compliance under the Interstate Migrant Labour Act.
