Thanks, I don"t want to give holiday on vishwakarma jayanti, can i open my unit on that day, or it is a restricted holiday by M.P government on their standing order

As per my knowledge, only a few holidays are compulsory, i.e., 26th Jan, 15th Aug, 2nd Oct, and one statehood day. The remaining holidays are decided by considering the local festivals according to the majority of employees, whether it may be Diwali, Dussehra, Eid, or Ganesh Mahotsava, to fulfill the requirements of the minimum holidays to be given according to the provisions.

Hi, according to my experience , in plant level we have to give holiday because worker will not accept it. but in office level people can work..
