A1: Eligibility for Family Pension
If the covered employee dies while in service, his family is eligible for an appropriate pension.
A2: Trainees and the Apprentice Act 1961
If the trainees are covered under the Apprentice Act 1961 or if conditions are provided in the Certified Standing Order, there is no need for additional coverage.
A3: Withdrawal of Amount
One can withdraw the amount by getting the claim forms attested by a gazetted officer such as a Bank Manager, etc.
A4: Nomination After Marriage
Once an employee gets married, the nomination made before his marriage becomes null and void. The wife will be the only eligible nominee.
A5: Definition of Superannuation
"Superannuation" in relation to an employee who is a member of the Pension Scheme means the attainment, by the said employee, of the age of 58 years. An employee is eligible for a superannuation pension if he has rendered eligible service of 10 years or more and retires upon attaining the age of 58 years.
