Hi All!

I have completed PGDBM specializing in HR from IMT Ghaziabad. Now, I am willing to enhance my qualification. I need a suggestion from my seniors on this. Whether should I go for Masters in Psychology or SAP. I was thinking of doing SAP HR, but the only constraint is that I cannot afford 2 lakhs as the fees for the course. I have heard of C-DAC in Noida, which offers SAP for Rs. 40,000, but I am not very sure if it is going to be useful for the long run or not.

Kindly suggest to me whether I should go for Masters in Psychology or SAP? And also, whatever you suggest, please also tell the best institute it can be done from.

Thanks!
Rupali

Hi Rupali,

To become a functional consultant in SAP, it requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the respective module. Regarding the training in SAP HR from an unauthorized institute, they only provide you with training without certification.

Hope this will help you!!

For further information regarding SAP HR, do let me know.

Hi Rupali,

If you are so keen on SAP, try pursuing it at an institution that would provide certification and placement. Doing SAP without a certification is not advisable. Firstly, decide on your career path. If you are going for psychology, that is also good since there are only a few people who choose psychology, allowing you to explore valuable opportunities. Additionally, if you are keen on SAP, it is advisable to have at least 3 years of domain experience if you want to become a functional consultant.

Hi Rupali, As suggested by many of our seniors, Masters in Psychology is better than doing SAP-HR at this stage. Regards, Vadiraj

Thanks to all for making my confusion clear. Now, the only thing I would like to know is, which is the best institute to pursue it from. Are there any good institutes in India offering masters in Human Psychology? Alternatively, if anyone knows of any international institutes, be it in Canada or the US, please let me know.

Thanks & Regards,
Rupali

Hi, I'm Vaidehi. I'm pursuing my master's in Industrial Psychology from SNDT University. I am also currently completing an internship. It's a great experience and really helps in understanding where you want to end up. So, make sure to check that as well.

Hi Vaidehi,

You may have completed your Master's program by now. I was wondering if you could direct me to other Master Programs in Psychology/Counseling/Industrial available in Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore.

Appreciate anyone's help in this actually. Thanks.

Hi Rupali,

You can pursue a Master of Science in Psychology. There are many institutes that offer this course. If you wish to go to a university, I am not aware of the qualifications required. One option is IBMS; it is a good institute. You can contact them for their distance learning program.

Please reply with what you decide to do.
