I was associated with Genpact from 2006 to 2010. In November 2010, I shifted to the Linde group, and I transferred my PF amount from Genpact to Linde. That amount was credited to Linde from Genpact in February 2011. When I left Linde in June 2011, I had submitted all the necessary forms for PF withdrawal. However, the reimbursement has come only for the PF amount incurred during my time at Linde, and there is no clue as to where the amount transferred from Genpact to Linde has gone.
Now, when I am trying to get in touch with Linde, they are asking me to directly contact RPFC for the full and final settlement. Can anyone inform me about the form number that needs to be submitted in this case and also guide me on how to proceed to claim the PF amount that was transferred from Genpact to Linde?
Please guide me as soon as possible.

Hi Poulomi, do you have any documents like your Form 3A from your past employer (Genpact), any salary slips, or EPF receipts from both employers, or anything about your transfer of EPF from Genpact to Linde? Could you please let me know what exactly they are saying and why they want you to connect with the RPFC directly? It seems there is something wrong between Genpact and Linde, and your EPF transfer work hasn't been completed yet because generally, no employer asks an employee to contact the RPFC.
Well, you need to get in touch with Genpact first and ask them about it. Then, you need to speak to Linde to get confirmation of your EPF transfer to Linde from your HR in Genpact. Also, you need to ask them whether they have completed the procedure of transferring your EPF from their side or not.
Second, there is nothing to worry about. You just need to visit the local EPF commissioner (RPFC) directly and make a written request to get the status. They will certainly help you in this regard.

Thanks for the response. I have put across a query to Genpact, and their PF team has responded, stating that the amount was transferred from Genpact to Linde in February 2011. Additionally, I received an intimation from Linde during that time, confirming they had received the cheque from Genpact for the entire PF amount transfer.
I believe the mistake lies with Linde, as they now claim they were informed by their consultant that only Linde's amount has been credited to my account. They are advising me to contact RPFC directly for full and final PF withdrawal, and they can at most send the necessary form to be submitted.

Good, in that case, if you have confirmation from Genpact that your EPF account has been transferred to Linde, and Linde has accepted the transfer, you just need to visit the RPFC. Is this EPF account from the Gurgaon region? If yes, then please provide me with your EPF account number. I have a few good contacts in the EPF office, Gurgaon. Perhaps I can assist you.

Hi Anil, Thanks, but my Linde account corresponds to RPFC Kolkata. Also, as you suggested, I should submit a written request to understand the status. Can you let me know which form needs to be submitted to the PF office for this full and final settlement?

Linde's Operations and Miscommunication
Linde is a German-based company, and they follow all the rules of India. The British Oxygen Company is now taken over by Linde. Poulomi might have worked at BOC in Kolkata. Their headquarters is in Baroda. Some miscommunication might have occurred in this case. Otherwise, they are disciplined, as far as I know.

I am an ex-employee of UHG (Hyderabad), but our PF accounts were assigned to Gurgaon as it is the main site. I submitted my PF withdrawal form in January 2015. I received an SMS on March 16, 2015, stating: "Your PF claim payment has been approved, and payment is under process."
Since then, I have been checking online on EPFO for the status and my bank account, but as of today, 30-04-2015, I have not received any response from EPF nor have I received my money. The online status still shows that the payment is under process.
When I contacted my ex-employers, who handle PF matters, they mentioned that they will check with RPFC as the Gurgaon EPF site is not working.
Can you please assist me in understanding what is happening? Kindly do the needful and provide suggestions.

Satish
