EPF Interest Rate Set at 9.5% for 2010-11: How Does This Affect You?

Dear Friends, Labour Ministry has declared 9.5% as Employees Provident Fund interest for the year 2010-11. The relevant circular from Labour Secretary is attached Regards, Simbu.

I am looking for the rate of interest for the past 30 years to compute EPF benefits for a deceased person. There was no living nominee, and it is under dispute due to legal heirs.
