Hello seniors, I am Ruban, pursuing MSW (HR) at Mar Gregorios College. I have prepared a payroll process and have attached a file. Please go through it and give me suggestions to improve myself. Seniors, I am eagerly awaiting your replies.
Initially, I posted the process on Cite HR and have since revised it based on the received suggestions. I would appreciate your feedback and corrections.
Thanks and regards,

In your sheet, you have calculated the ESI contribution of the employee and employer based on the gross salary per month, but it should be based on the actual salary. Additionally, you have calculated the employer's P.F. contributions based on the gross salary per month, but it should be based on the earned basic salary. Yes, the checking of PF applicability may be based on the actual basis.

Understanding Employee Definition in the Shops and Establishment Act of Punjab
If we read the definition of an employee in the Shops and Establishment Act of Punjab, an employee works on a piece-rate basis. This means one is free to work whether it is on a daily wage basis. Thus, employees are working on a piece-rate basis, and I want to develop a standard piece-rate salary sheet where I can calculate their deductions for PF, ESI, W.F., etc. I also need their individual job cards, detailing the pieces made on specific days. For reference, please see the attachment.
Thank you all!
