Hi all,
Could anybody please help me by providing a detailed format for obtaining personal required information on the joining day? Additionally, please advise on the essential components to be included in an Induction program. For context, we are a GSA of an international airline with approximately 90 employees located across various sites in India. The HR operations are centralized in Delhi, and the HR point of contact cannot physically attend every office for induction or training sessions.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Parul, If you are in charge of all 90 locations spread all over India, then I feel you must go there for training yourself. It is always better to establish a personal rapport, which can only happen when you make an effort to meet and train them.
Another option could be to organize a training program in the city you are in and ensure that all new employees participate in it. Thirdly, you could brief or train one person from each location who, in turn, will train the newcomers.

Hi,
A personal information sheet plays an important role. In this, we can obtain the following details from the employee:
1. Date of Birth (Actual)
2. Date of Birth (Certified)
3. Blood group
4. Contact Address (Permanent & Temporary)
5. Contact number (Employee's number + additional contact number - parents)
Thanks,
Kavitha

Hello Parul,
You may find attached herewith a document that clearly details the employee's personal information. This record is definitely a valuable resource for both the organization and its employees. It is one of the primary functions of the HR department in every organization.
Please note that the attached file "Employee_Profile" should be opened or downloaded in MS Word.
Thank you and best wishes to you.

Hi Parul,
Though I'm still a student, after having done my project in HR, what I saw in my company is this. Apart from the suggestions provided above by other friends, you can also include details like personal habits, i.e., drinking, smoking, vegetarian or non-vegetarian, height, weight, etc.
This information is helpful while arranging any party or vacation for the staff. Though this is a small piece of information, I hope this will help you in some way at least.
Goodbye,
Amrita
