Hi All,

I have a query regarding the submission of Form C (Notice of Change) in employee strength. We are an ITES-based company located in Durgapur, West Bengal.

Our consultant in Durgapur has informed us that every change needs to be intimated in Form C, and a specified sum as per Rule 5 of the WB S&E Act must be remitted.

Could you please clarify at what frequency these changes need to be intimated and paid? As an ITES company, we experience high volumes of recruitments daily, and employees also frequently leave the organization.

I would appreciate guidance on the process or procedure that needs to be followed if this requirement applies to ITES companies.

Thank you for your assistance.

Warm Regards,
Ravindra

Hi Ravindra,

Form C for S&E is required whenever there is a change in the manpower in any organization. It can be submitted every quarter in the case of volume industries like yours. The compliance service provider will do the needful for you if you can provide a few details to them for all the changes in your system. Details include the name of the newly/transferred/resigned employee and the specific date of change. The service provider will fill out the form for you, and it should be signed by the authorized personnel of the organization, which then needs to be submitted to the S&E department.
