Please let me know the standard policy, if any, regarding the allocation of parking spaces to employees. This information will help us in purchasing or renting the parking slots from the landlord.

There won't be any specific policy for this. You need to find out how many of your employees are expected to come by cars and arrange. If they are not provided, then it will be difficult for them to park their cars, and they will ask for that. As an alternative, you have to arrange transport for them. However, I believe that hiring or investing in parking space will be costlier. Hence, it's better to plan for transport from the company if the numbers are high.

Normally, at the time of signing the L&L agreement, all admin/landlords give fixed (minimum 2-3) parking spaces (kindly recheck your agreement terms). It depends on location, rent amount, and parking space availability in the society premises.
• To purchase parking space, you need to have parking space cost approval from the CFO, Director, GM, or any cost approval authority in the company.
• Need to make a list of top management employees, i.e., Director, GM, VP, and AVP, who are eligible for parking space (if possible, present the employee list with their designations).
• Need approval on how many parking spaces to purchase.
Normally, only senior-level personnel, i.e., Director, GM, and VP, will be given parking space in the building premises. All other employees must arrange their parking outside the society premises on their own.
