Hi all, i am working with a US based MNC in bangalore as a Manager - BD since 1.5yrs( joined on 12th july 2017). Recently i have found out that i am pregnant, i informed my reporting manager and HR head from that day on they have talking about my performance which has not been good since 2-3 months but no official email has been sent by them to me so far regarding my poor performance. I have sent them a official mail stating my pregnancy details. Now my Reporting manager called me for a meeting and asked me if i would go on early maternity leave and take rest at home to which i denied and said i am alright to come to office and work. Then again after few days my hr head called me and said your performance has not been good also now that ur carrying, you will not be able to perform better. She asked me to resign and leave and company will pay me 6 months of maternity leave. She is been forcing me to do so. What is the legal remedy to this. i dont want to loose my job. Kindly help me with what should i do at this situation?

Dear Distressed Guidance -Seeker,
What If, what you stated in your Post on CiteHR today is factual?
Please also submit, to your Superior Reporting Supervissor/Manager, duly enclosed with a Forwarding Application/ Letter/ Written Note/Memo, a Proper Medical Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practioner attesting/Certifying your Pregnancy aalong with Date of Confinement mentioned in te Medical Certificate; and
Seek an Appointment from the Head of the Establishment to Present/Represent your Case/Situation and Rightfl/Justifiable Case for Grant of Maternity Benefit under Intimation to the aforesaid HR Head and your ControllingOfficer/Supervisor and depending on :What Transpires" in that Meeting, keep them informed that You Shall Not Forgo your Claim under the Laws of the Land
