Presently I am working as Executive -Payroll in a reputed company. I have 3 years of experience in the HR operation and 7 plus years of experience DPE Now, Management have change my profile and give the payroll work but i am a fresher and not know bout it, means i am a beginner so please help me how we work on payroll as fresher's . Can anyone help me out in this regard by giving me advise like who all are the consultants? how I have to approach?

What is the big deal in handling payroll?
It is about creating salaries, managing leave/ attendance rules, standard deductions, which can be done either in the company software or excel.
If you are aware of the general norms it is not very difficult.
