I have recently joined an IT company consisting of 15 people. How do I handle worksite discipline when employees are playing games and wasting their time, and when asked about it, they reply that it is part of their duty, which it actually is not? How should I handle this situation?

Recruitment Challenges in a Small IT Company

While recruiting, I face the problem of employee strength. People directly say no to applying when they learn about the employee strength. Although it's a very well-established company with good HR policies, I am unable to generate interest among candidates. Please comment. Thank you in advance.

1. You have to frame a policy regarding disciplinary action to control the same. Before framing it, discuss with the General Manager or MD to make it strong and active.

2. Regarding recruitment: it will be based on the candidate's mindset. You have to help them understand that they will be the pillars of the company in the future.
