Dear Friends,
Pls help me figure out the details of PF calculation.
If the employee is earning more than Rs. 6500 it is 12% employee + 12% employer + 1% admin =25% of basic+Stipend+arrears
If the employee is earning less than Rs. 6500 employer pays 12% but employee is not bound to pay.
Is it so?
How much is deducted from employee's salary?
Pls help!
Regards,

Dear Abhipsa,
Few points to add with Mr. Akhil:-
- Salary means Basic + DA.
- Employee can contribute more than 12% of his salary in PF which is known as Voluntary PF contribution.
- In case of Exempted PF Trust amount of Employer share in A/C No.2 will be @0.18%.
