Virtually everything with people is negotiated. The ability to negotiate strong agreements and
understandings is among today's most valuable competency. A successful negotiator knows
the importance of finding the right balance between accomplishing objectives, nurturing and
building relationships with clients/suppliers for long-term mutual benefits. However, many
people have difficulty striking this balance.
