Dear Mr. Johnson,
1. Why Environmental Monitoring is necessary:
We are all aware about the issues on environment globally. All these are because human beings. If humans are to survive longer environmental protection is required hence monitoring is essential.
If you let us know specific problems of your industry may be we should be able to focus upon. However if your company is manufacturing any product, you must have got consent from Local Pollution Control Board. Follow those conditions as these are all legal requirements.
2. Frequency:
The frequency also is given in consents issued by Pollution Control Boards. However the term environment monitoring can be subdivided in following categories...
Water Pollution
Air Pollution
Soil Pollution
As per the Environment Protection Act the frequency given is REGULARLY.
Many industries do it on monthly basis.
To repeat if you need specific help please elaborate on the problem you are facing.
Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir

Dear Mr.Johnson
Mr.Sudhir clearly suggested you why environmental monitoring is must. To follow the conditions and prescribed limits of CC&A (Consolidated Consent & Authorization) environmental monitoring is must.
As per MOEF, Delhi notification- the company has to measure the ambient air quality twice in a week for each station
It is a legal requirement of Factory act 1948 & Gujarat factory act rule 1963- Form no. 37 (work place monitoring)
To submit environment audit report as per high court guidelines- Ambient air monitoring, stack monitoring and Hazardous waste analysis, water analysis to be done on monthly basis.
with regards,
Rohan Puthran..

I am having a doubt, may be seems very small one, request to come up with your expertise and help in understand the concept clearly...
What is the difference in PM10, PM 2.5, Particulate(SPM)??? Why we should do this kind of different monitoring???
If any of the readings of PM10, PM2.5 or SPM what should be our control measures?
