The Purpose of Life: A Personal Reflection

Why are we, you, or I born? How do you find your own purpose and stick to it to give back? What are we here to give with the gifts that we have? Is it only love, happiness, and prosperity that one seeks? Money is the only motive behind a lot of people's purposes. Please help.

Let me tell you, your thoughts on what life is all about have made my thoughts go mad. What a poignant question you posed! I am sure it is hard for everyone to answer for themselves. What you say has a point. Let me be frank, in all the years, what I have learned and gone through is that money is the only thing in life that a human being wants. Money gets everything like respect, love, care, relationships, social power, etc., and many more.

Only at the end of life does a human understand that they are unnecessarily running around wasting time instead of working on heartfelt relationships and spending life with loved ones. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Swapna. Is money a byproduct of something, or is it the cause of everything?

Money as a Byproduct of Service

Money has always been and will be a byproduct of the service that we provide. Money has been and will be in abundance. It's just that people can't see it because their beliefs about money make them stuck at a certain level.

The Pursuit of Happiness

All said and done, until death, we'll be unsatisfied with whatever we have. So, we should always be happy, as happiness is the true form of self-satisfaction, bliss, and the attainment of complete pleasure in our lives. Feel good every time. Promise yourself to be the best.

Please find attached I Promise Myself:

The Best Promise We Can Ever Make

The best promise we can ever make is with ourselves. We need to become successful to make and keep promises with others. Promises are to be kept and not to be broken. We promise our loved ones all sorts of flashy stuff which we can't even get. Promises are not dreams. Promises are real, practical applications of what you need at this moment.

Promises give rise to expectations. If we promise, we ought to deliver it. It keeps us grounded, not in the whims and fancies of people's wishes. Promises are truth. Even Warren Buffet and Bill Gates have taken a promise years ago to donate 90 percent of their wealth. Promises give rise to commitment, accountability, and most importantly, responsibility.

One of the promises that I have made now to myself is to take more responsibility.
