Greetings,

I’m Shakthy working as a HR in private concern. First I have to thank this cite for guiding me as a Senior HR, because I don’t have any work experience or a senior to guide me in this field since I’m the only HR in my company. Based on the references from this cite I have done my part. But still I need more guidelines to form proper HR Department. These are my queries pls help me to get solutions…
  • Ř I have framed HR policy Manual. But my question “what is the use of this manual?” Will it be useful only for employees to know about organization?
  • Ř For Auditing as a HR what I have to do/ submit?
  • Ř As a HR what are the essential files/ documents I have to maintain apart from employee personal detail file, Interview report file, Resume tracking File,
Regards
Shakthy

Now your question about HR Manual and benefits of this, I want you to understand the need and effectiveness of this HR Manual and why we HR peoples use this. Also Mr. Shakthy, I would like to tell you that we already have discussed so many times on the same matter that why we do use this HR Manual and the importance of this in an Organsation, therefore I would suggest you to go with search option and read the post by the member where you will all the answers of your question about HR Manual.

Second, you can go with the weblink below where you can read all about HR Manual HR Manual, Employee Manual, Personnel Guide also there is another weblink <link outdated-removed> I would like to share and you can get the several of reports and formats of HR Manual.

2- About your second and third question where you have ask about HR Audit and functioning process and the work need performed by an HR Personal/Manager And the maintenance/filing of important HR documents.

Mr. Shakthy, first I would like to tell that you have to make a system for filing every single paper related to Human Resource Management not just related to Employee Personal File and so on.. and maintain your HR Data which is a essential part of HRM

HR Audit Shakthy hope you may have knowledge about it and the process but again Im going to explicate it for you bcz before going further, one must understand the meaning, purpose, benefits and the importance of HR Audit.

HR Audit means the systematic verification of job analysis and design, recruitment and selection, orientation and placement, training and development, performance appraisal and job evaluation, employee and executive remuneration, motivation and morale, participative management, communication, welfare and social security, safety and health, industrial relations, trade unionism, and disputes and their resolution.

HR audit is very much useful to achieve the organizational goal and also is a vital tool which helps to assess the effectiveness of HR functions of an organization.

An HR audit looks at the HR areas that are important to your business such as:

Human Resources Strategic Planning

Attracting and Selecting Staff

Onboarding and Orientation

Training and Development

Compensation and Benefits

Equity and Management Diversity

Performance Management

Ending the Employment Relationship

Benefits of HR Audit:

It provides the various benefits to the organization. These are:

It helps to find out the proper contribution of the HR department towards the organization.

Development of the professional image of the HR department of the organization.

Reduce the HR cost.

Motivation of the HR personnel.

Find out the problems and solve them smoothly.

Provides timely legal requirement.

Sound Performance Appraisal Systems.

Systematic job analysis.

Smooth adoption of the changing mindset.

You can also read about the HR Audit by the weblink and as I have mentioned above that the numbers of people have already discussed on the same topics so many times..https://www.citehr.com/228755-hr-audit.html and for the process of HR Audit you can go with http://citeman.com <link updated to site home>

Best of Luck

Dear Anil Kr Arora
Thank you very much for your valuable suggestions. The link which gave (Human Resource System, HR Personnel, HR Software Administration) is really fantastic.
Still I have a doubt. In case of auditing/ any legal issues will it be useful to the organization.
Regards,
Ms.Shakthy.S
