Dear Sir/Madam, Please help me out.
Please give me details about the salary break up. Our Salary Components are Basic Salary HRA,MA,SP,CEA
Now please tell me how can i calculated these are all allowances and also please give me the detail about the HRA & PT slab in gujarat region.
What will be calculation of Professional Tax?

Hi, As far HRA is concerned, it is 40% of basic (50% for metros). Tha basic is taken approx. 40% of the CTC. Regarding PT, try to get info from the IT department of Gujarat. Regards Parikshit.
hra can vary frm 40-100% of basic depends on the company ,,no guideline given by any govt authority,,,,,,,,, basic is always roughly one third of ctc everywhere , amit

What would be the tax effective break up for a CTC of Rs. 10.00 lakhs and Rs. 15.00 lakhs per annum. Kindly highlight those components which are exempted from the tax point of view. regards
