Can Any Body Please Help Me Maintaining File. Is There Is Any For Mat In Excel Which Helps In Maintaining File. I Am In Admin Dept And I Ve To Maintaint About 300 Files Thanks And Regards Puja Soni

As such there is not any particular format for this....

I belong to a India's biggest retail company...Initially I have done this for my Department....

1. To make a list of File names on Excel and number them accordingly.
2. You can add up the contents of file in the same excel sheet...
3. Place them in cupboard according to the numbers marked on it....
4. On the inner side of the cupboard you may paste a index sheet stating that file no 1 till 20 in shelf 1.......
5. Mark your cupboards with he numbering
6. After placing all the files just keep monitoring any new insertion in it accordingly...

Dear it is just a one time work and then it would be easy for you & your team also in your absence......Try to make the list clear.......

You may categorize file into different heads as in Payments.....Assets...Employee D/B....clearance forms....corporate connections...traveling expenses....etc
