I am having a doubt that, Is this mandatory to provide Offer and Appointment Letter for a unskilled workmen under Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition). Please give me a clarification

Hi,

It is mandatory to provide appointment letter by the contractor. In case he is not providing then the principal employer would be held liable. It has to be signed by the employee and in case of factory inspection they will check if the employees are provided.
