Kindly clarify the doubt about PF deduction. If an employee crosses the salary of Rs.15000 in the middle of his service, can we stop PF deduction as he crosses the PF ceiling? Is there any section in PF ACT related to this?

The legal position is that once a PF member, he will continue to be so till the member attains superannuation or is terminated from service for any other reason. The EPS membership will cease on attaining 58 years of age. The member has the option of limiting his contribution to the ceiling amount or a bigger amount similarly the employer also has that option.
