I shared this presentation with my kids and they were very much thrilled to see about great India. Even they showed interest to work for bringing back India's old values.

I can say that proudly as I see the respect in the eyes of peoples from other countries for Indians. I am a NRI and so PROUD to be an INDIAN.

Yoga and Ayurveda originated in India(Pls excuse if it is there in the ppt)

Zen and Vipasana meditation originated in India. Vipasana is a meditation technique that was taught by the most well known Enlightened man in history, Gautama the Budhdha and was sent to Burma for 2500 years after which it was brought back to India by Shri S.N.Goenka. It is recommended by psychiatrists for removing deep rooted mental and emotional problems. Zen meditation is also famous all over the world.

This post reminds you of Akshardham's boat ride where all of India's greats are displayed.

While it is great to be and feel great, I am also reminded of the Pullitzer prize winning book "The world is Flat" in which similar things were said about the Muslim Civilzation but the author also sais "That was then. What now?". India has a poor rating on various accounts like corruption/health index, illetracy etc vis-a-vis other countries. Let us hope that the current economic boom is able to permeate the benefits to all sections of society and we have an encore of our position in historical times.
