On-Demand Benefits

On-Demand Benefits such as Tangefit On-Demand are a new class of consumer-driven health plans, meaning that each employee is given a specified amount to purchase their benefits at the time of enrollment. Plans start at $100/employee per month, and this rate is locked by the employer at the time of design. Employers can design their plan online without a single sales call.

How It Works

Each employee gets a MasterCard™ Medical Debit card that can be used for doctor visits, dental visits, and prescriptions. Just swipe your card at the time of service. Hospital and surgical claims are filed online.

Not clear on how Tangefit works. Employer pays, minimally, $100 per employee per month. The employee gets a Medical DEBIT Card for medical expenses. The question is: Who pays the DEBIT bill? Is it Tangefit, the employer, or the employee?
