Newly Joined but Not paid from Joining Date or Reporting Date.

Hai guys, I have Joined as a developer in MNC with Contract. As per MNC i joined at April 1 (Reporting date was 7th at contractor but before 7th i got calls regarding induction) but Client project onboarding has started around 15th. Now they saying salary will be paid from 15th but not from Joining date.

(Note:- they made a mistake so my onboarding was started lately)

What should i do? Please Help.

What can you do?
You can call and speak to the HR and try and explain why you believe you were working for the company and should be paid.
If they don't agree, do you want to antagonise the company and risk your new job for 7 days' salary?
