PF contribution by employer

anshika_sinha
Hi All,
Need a suggestion. An employee joined and worked for 30 days and after taking the salary for 30 days absconded. Is the company liable to pay PF contribution to him/her? In this case, the employee had a previous PF account which hr/She wanted to withdraw so didnt share the UAN details. Since we have Adhaar card of that particular employee we were able to get the UAN Number. If we deposit in that account it might raise an issue for the employee.
Do we have any rules that the company is liable to pay employees PF only if he completes a certain number of days with the organization?
What should we do? Please suggest.

Hi Friend,
Hope you have collected form 11 from this employee. If yes, then details will be available in the form. If not you can create new UAN and deposit his contribution.
There is no rule for specific number of days.
Feel free to call or revert for any clarification.
