I have made a job change from one PSU to another. In this regard, I was offered Rs. 23,200/- as basic pay, which is in E-2 Grade (Rs. 20,600/-) with 3 increments at 3% per year. The same has been mentioned in my appointment letter too. However, upon joining my new company where Pay Revision has been implemented, they have denied passing on the 3 increments that were offered to me.
When I inquired about this, they stated that the 3 increments will be passed on whenever my previous company implements Pay Revision, and all the money will be given as arrears. Could you please shed some light on the above-mentioned subject?
